We visited Lure Fish House on a Friday around 5 PM, and despite the bustling crowd, we were seated quickly. The restaurant's stunning decor, with its beachy, coastal vibe, sets a relaxing and inviting tone. The staff was friendly and attentive, making our experience enjoyable from start to finish. What we ordered: Crispy Calamari: Perfectly crispy with an excellent balance of texture and flavor. The two dipping sauces were spot-on. This was easily one of our favorites! White Sea Bass with Clam Chowder & Sweet Potato Fries: The sides were fantastic--especially the sweet potato fries--but the sea bass itself was a bit bland for our taste. Probably wouldn't order it again. Maine Lobster Roll with Maple Brussel Sprouts: The lobster was fresh, though the bread was slightly soggy. The maple Brussel sprouts, while not crispy, were bursting with flavor and a highlight of the meal. Miso Glazed Salmon Bowl: A standout dish! The salmon was cooked perfectly, and the savory glaze made it absolutely delicious. The calamari and salmon bowl were the clear winners, and we'd happily return for them or to explore other menu options. Overall, Lure Fish House is a fantastic spot for seafood lovers or a special occasion. Highly recommend!

Great fish choices. The lobster ravioli is a go-to dish. You'll also love the potato cakes. They don't take reservations so i recommend showing up early and hang out in the area during the wait.

Vegan options!!!! Atmosphere is very nice in here. I've been here several times. It's dark and very loud, but it's all part of the restaurant. Our waiter was nice, but his voice was very soft, which was hard to hear in this restaurant. I am a vegan and I really like that they make the ceviche for me without the fish. Thank you very much making the special order for me.

Updated Review After my previous review, I got invited back to give Lure Fish House another chance. Initially the service was really slow, but after getting the drinks in... the service was exceptionally better. Again, some of the food was salty but still good! The shrimp cocktail appetizer was reallllly good. If you dip the bread in the Steamed Basil Clams... it is yummy. I got the lobster roll and there was a few shell pieces in the roll. The LR was good, but personally wasn't my cup of tea. My grandmother got a salmon and salad which she enjoyed. However, she noted that the salmon was salty. We got chocolate cake with ice cream, it was yummy.

I got dinner here with my family tonight. My server Christina was amazing and always made sure our drinks were full and our food was good. Riley also stopped by to drop off some food and was very helpful. My aunt had some questions about drinks and Audrey helped her with her drink choice for the blueberry basil margarita and she loved it. We ordered the tuna ponzu appetizer and it was delicious! I love the new presentation in the dish. But we did as for more ponzu sauce on the side. We also ordered the tequila like shrimp pasta and it was very flavorful! It was slightly spicy but still great! We also got the house salad with chicken and it was fantastic! The lettuce was so fresh and all the toppings made it delicious! I ordered the swordfish sand dab style and it was so juicy and flavorful. For sides I got the Parmesan potato cake and 50/50 chowder which was hearty and filling. My nephew ordered grilled chicken and Mac and cheese from the kids menu and the portion was huge! Overall, the food and attentiveness from the staff made our experience memorable.

Upscale casual dining while still being accessible to families of all stages! Our first time dining at Lure and we were amazed by how easy it was to walk in for a table of (3). We saw couples on a lunch date, elderly ladies catching up over the holidays, a family enjoying a room for their party, and us with our toddler. Their booths are large and very comfortable and clean. We used a booster seat and our daughter loved being able to sit at the table at 14 months. What we ordered: Passion fruit iced tea - free refills woo! Was refreshing and unsweetened Arnold Palmer Kumamoto oysters, fresh and large Miso glazed cod skewers, very tasty but only two skewers so order accordingly for your group Fish and chips cod, pineapple Cole slaw, fries - excellent dish they made it perfectly and fish was well sized! Enough to take home some Catch of the day - rockfish, sweet potato fries and lime cilantro rice. Was a bit too salty for me but the sides were excellent Child had the shell mac n cheese (cute theme!), milk, fruit - she ate most of the food and some to take home as the portion is perfect for older kids. She loved the pasta and we love to see her eat anything as a toddler. Bathrooms were very clean and child changing station is kept pristine and in working order. Surprisingly not many places upkeep that and I greatly appreciate it. The restaurant is very accessible for wheelchair, families, and large groups. Service was very friendly and on top of their game. We loved the flair everyone had with Santa hats and cheer for the holidays. We will definitely come back and dine in.

Came in for Happy Hour, service was a bit slow but our server had a lot of tables to take care of and he was still very nice and accommodating. Got some oysters, the mussels, and the shishito peppers. Everything was super yummy and the happy hour prices were so worth it. Will come back again to explore their full menu !

I haven't been to Lure Fish House in a forever so when we were in the SF Valley today, we decided to come to this location for their Happy Hour menu. We ordered their: HH Charbroiled Oyster- 6 HH Oyster Sampler (6) HH Pop Rock Shrimp HH Chipotle Shrimp Taco HH Baja Cod Taco HH Albacore Ponzu Lure Cioppino Our favorites were the Charbroiled Oyster (dip their bread in the juices...sooo good!), HH oysters, Chipotle Shrimp Taco, and Baja Cod Taco. I came here for the cioppino, but didn't remember it like it was made today. It didn't have as much seafood and didn't pasta that I had at their Camarillo location. All in all... we would definitely be back for their happy hour menu. Their seafood is super fresh and delicious. Their service was great (Emma, our server was super sweet and attentive). Just remember, if you are going for the happy hour, it's from Mon-Fri: 3PM-6PM and Sun: 11:30AM-5PM and you have to sit near the bar and high top area to partake in the HH menu!

Dinner date with my little sister who doesn't like seafood (yet) haha Cute dimly lit restaurant, which is nice for a date. They have a bar area too with a TV if you are looking to catch a game. You get complimentary warm sourdough bread. So soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside. Lay on some whipped butter and mmm mm. Do get a cup of the Clam Chowder. It was hot, hearty, and creamy goodness. I ordered the Sand Dabs and it comes with two sides. I went with the pineapple coleslaw (not overly dressed in Mayo and nice bits of sweetness) and sweet potato fries (crispy sweet shoestring fries). I'm a lover of capers so with the buttery lightly fried sand dabs, it was a match in heaven. They do have a menu for kids. It isn't online but ask the server and they will bring it. Some non seafood items for kids includes grilled chicken , grilled cheese, and butter cheese linguine. Our server (Richard I believe) was very attentive and friendly. Kept the warm bread and lemonade refills coming. Will need to come back and get some fresh oysters! They also have happy hour from 3pm-6pm Monday to Friday.
